Victorian Park
The Victorian Park situated at the centre of the town is the perfect spot for a family picnic or a rendezvous with your loved one.One of the most well maintained parks in South Asia, it is home to a plethora of feather folks.During spring the park comes even more alive with the smiling blossoms and chirping birds.

Hakgala Botanical Garden
The second largest garden in Sri Lanka, the Hakgala Botanic garden is home to over 10,000 species of exotic flora. The garden is also famous for its varieties of roses and orchids.

Horton Plains National Park
An open grassy woodland area, Horton Plains National park is known for its leopards, sambars and langurs.The park is also home to exotic bird species like the flycatchers and the bulbuls.

The terraces of this Little England is covered with vegetable cultivation of various sorts, interspaced between thick tea bushes on the steeper slopes. The region is known for a certain variety of tea called the Orange Pekoe tea.This grade of tea is considered to be of the finest quality owing to its leaf structure.
